The Greater Cleveland Chapter was awarded 1st Place Honors in this year’s Chapter Pictorial Contest at the 27th Annual APA Congress. Chapter President Joanie Sapienza proudly accepted the award on behalf of the chapter during the Chapter Exchange held at the Long Beach Convention Center on Wednesday, May 20th.
This was the 2nd year in a row that the chapter submitted an entry in the contest. The creative pictorial in the shape of a guitar and aptly named Greater Cleveland Rocks was designed and assembled by Chapter Coordinator Ronelle Miller-Hood and Chapter Historian Tina Peery Gholson. The pictorial not only highlights the famous Cleveland landmark, The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, it contains pictures and highlights from each meeting in 2008, plus social events and community service projects.
Ronelle and Tina created an awesome tribute to our chapter. The chapter pictorial will be on display at the June and August meetings. Please congratulate Ronelle and Tina on a job well done!
