THANK YOU! Greater Cleveland APA Charity Event for August - WomenSafe Many thanks to those who donated much needed items at our August meeting, for WomenSafe, Inc.! WomenSafe provides emergency shelter and support services to survivors of domestic violence in Northeast Ohio. WomenSafe is a non-profit organization that offers information, counseling, education, referrals and support to victims of domestic violence and federal victims of crime.

We are proud to announce that Mary Gurgol, the nominee from the Greater Cleveland Chapter, has received the Ohio Payroll Professional of the Year award at the Ohio Conference for Payroll Professionals held on October 2-3, 2008. As most of you know, Mary holds the officer position of President and statewide committee chapter representative, and her efforts have had a positive effect on our chapter. With her positive attitude, care for her work and our chapter, this is a wonderful way for us to say Thank You. Mary also serves on the national Online Hotline and is an APA CHAMPS mentor.
